The Subroto Cup 2023
The Subroto Cup is back for its 2023 edition as one of the most prestigious football tournaments in India. The tournament, which the Indian Air Force and the AIFF collectively organizes, features different school football teams of different age-restricted categories competing against each other for the top prize.
Aside from the title and trophy, the winners of the 2023 Subroto Cup as well as other top-ranked teams will receive handsome amounts of prize money at the conclusion of the tournament. The prize money is meant to promote the game and encourage the young players to push themselves even further. The prestigious tournament is named after Indian Air Force Air Marshal Subroto Mukerjee, and has taken place annually ever since its inception in 1960.
This year’s edition marks the 62nd edition of the Cup and it will take place at three venues – Delhi, Gurugram, and Bengaluru. Bengaluru is set to host the tournament for the first time ever.
