Traditionally held in Delhi and Gurugram, the Subroto Cup 2023 will break new ground as it extends its footprint to Bengaluru.

Another significant development for this year’s Subroto Cup is its collaboration with the All India Football Federation (AIFF). This partnership reflects the tournament’s growth and commitment to developing football at the grassroots level.

Additionally, age determination will be conducted using the TW3 method, and all participating players will be registered under the AIFF’s Centralized Registration System (CRS).

In a bid to internationalize the tournament, teams from Nepal and Bangladesh will compete alongside their Indian counterparts. Air Marshal R.K. Anand expressed his commitment to expanding the tournament’s reach globally.

With over 180 matches scheduled, the Subroto Cup 2023 promises an action-packed football extravaganza. The tournament features three categories: Junior Girls (U-17), Sub-Junior Boys (U-14), and Junior Boys (U-17), showcasing a total of 109 teams from 27 Indian states and Union Territories.
