This series, produced by JTBC and distributed by Netflix, follows the story of a young girl named Nam-soon and her extraordinary strength used for noble purposes.
Plot
The plot centers around Bong-soon’s sixth cousin, Kang Nam-soon (played by Lee Yoo-mi), who possesses similar strength to her cousin. After getting lost in Magnolia, Nam-soon returns to South Korea to reunite with her family. She successfully locates her mother (Kim Jung-eun) and grandmother (Kim Hae-sook), unaware that they are in for an unexpected turn of events.
Netflix Description
The streaming giant Netflix describes the series as follows: “Endowed with superhuman strength, a young woman returns to Korea in search of her birth family but becomes entangled in a drug case that tests her abilities.”
As Nam-soon reunites with her family, they all get embroiled in a major drug case alongside two young men. The series explores whether they can overcome this challenge and end the conflict or succumb to it, while also delving into Nam-soon’s romantic relationships.
Cast
Directed by Kim Jung-sik, the series features Lee Yoo-mi as Kang Nam-soon, Kim Jung-eun as Hwang Geum-joo, Kim Hae-sook as Gil Joong-gan, Ong Seong-wu as Kang Hee-sik, Byeon Woo-seok as Ryu Shi-o, and other talented actors.
This rom-com thriller is expected to consist of 16 episodes, airing on JTBC in the Saturday and Sunday 22:30 time slot previously occupied by “Behind Your Touch.” It will be available for streaming on Netflix and JTBC TV.
