In 2016, he returned with his solo act to perform at NH7 Weekender in Pune and Shillong, as well as the Backdoors festival in Bengaluru. Since then, Indian fans have eagerly anticipated his return. During an earlier interview, Wilson had shared his affection for India, recalling the warmth and enthusiasm of local fans during his previous visits. Although he noted that he had only visited twice, the memories left a lasting impression.
The Overview Tour forms part of Wilson’s broader concert series spanning Europe and the U.K. The new album features two long, space-themed compositions, reinforcing his penchant for conceptual, immersive music. The artist planned to blend these new tracks with selections from The Harmony Codex (2023), The Future Bites (2021), and his earlier solo work. He described the upcoming shows as an audio-visual journey, supported by his long-standing solo band, and conveyed his excitement.
