The 4x NBA champion is currently set to defend his NBA championship with the Golden State Warriors again this season. Throughout his career, Curry has accomplished so many achievements and has featured in several films and documentaries.
However, contrary to what many people assume, Steph has not always been at the top of the game. Ever since his early years, Curry has faced many difficulties and has overcome numerous obstacles.
Official premiere
Steph Curry’s fans were ecstatic when his documentary, “Underrated” hit the premieres back in January earlier this year. However, the documentary has remained exclusive to those who attended the premiere up until now.
The documentary premiered at the Sundance Film Festival, in January. Steph attended the premier along with his wife, Ayesha Curry. While attending the premier, the NBA star shared:
It’s kind of an emotional roller coaster from the sports perspective that teaches you about patience and belief and the community rallying around something special.”
Now, fans will be excited to hear that “Untitled” will now release for streaming very soon this summer.
Where to watch “Underrated” and release date
Fans will be able to watch the much-anticipated documentary on Apple TV+ via a subscription. The release date for the documentary has been confirmed as this summer, July 21, 2023. Apple Originals Films and A24 also confirmed that the documentary will also release in select theatres globally.
Peter Nicks is the director behind the documentary while Ryan Coogler who also produced Black Panther is the producer.
“Underrated” preview
Unlike other regular documentaries, “Underrated” will contain real-life clips and interviews given by Curry himself. The documentary will also feature parts of Curry’s upbringing and his basketball struggles throughout his college years.
