As per reports, the Broadway dancer, Bissonnette was diagnosed from a brain tumor back in 2019. Later, she underwent radiation treatment and had her tumor removed.

She passed away due to brain cancer and was single at the time of her death with her unmarried. Her net worth stood at $300,000. After learning the news of her demise, the official Twitter account of Mean Girls Broadway, announce the tragic news of Stehpanie’s passing on Sunday.
The official tweet of the Broadway reads, “Our hearts are broken as the Mean Girls community mourns the loss of Stephanie Bissonnette.”
The tweet further reads, “Our original Dawn Sweitzer, Stephanie was part of our Broadway company from our first performance to our last.
“She filled our theater with her laughter and friendship, inspired us with her fighting spirit and bravery, and graced our stage with the fiercest talent Broadway has ever known.”
For those who are unversed, let us tell you, the dancer was diagnosed with brain tumor, medulloblastoma, three years ago.
Later, she undergo a number of treatments to get the tumor removed. In an earlier 2020 interview, the dancer opened up about her struggle with battle.
Back in 2018, Stephanie auditioned for Mean Girls and was selected for the role of Dawn Schweitzer. The actress continued with her show until the theatres shut down due to Covid-19 in 2020.
She was one of the Broadway stars, sho feature in the documentary Ensemble. The dancer had earned a degree in Performing Arts from Point Park University.
