Recently, social media platforms have been buzzing with a viral trend that claim the return of the Star of Jacob. Additionally, many users speculated that this star would be visible in the night sky and herald the second coming of Jesus Christ.
Star of Jacob prophecy meaning explained and where to watch it in 2024
Rutkowski claimed in the video that the Star of Jacob is set to arrive soon and urged people to check the night sky to witness what he described as a celestial phenomenon mentioned in the bible. He didn’t mention the exact date of where to watch the star from though.

Earlier, a video-sharing platform TikTok user Jacob Rutkowski took to the platform and shared a post claiming the return of the star. He captioned his post, โThe Star of Jacob is here!!!!!!!!โ

The influencer furthermore emphasized that the star would be visible for a month and it is linked to the biblical story of the โthree men who were coming to see the Messiah.โ The viral post refers to the wise men who once followed a bright star to find Jesus.
Moreover, the Influencer went on to explain the biblical tale, as he claimed that this star isnโt any ordinary star but a sign that the return of the Jesus was imminent.
Meaning of Star of Jacob?
As per online reports, this star is mentioned in the Bible verse 24:17. The verse reads, โI see him, but not now; I behold him, but not near.โ
It further adds, โA star is emerging from Jacob; a scepter is rising from Israel, and it smashes the brow of Moab and the foundation of all the sons of Seth.โ
Social Media Userโs Reaction
Although, the social media influencer Jacob Rutkowski claim that the biblical tale of this star is about Jesus return and that it is imminent. However, not everyone agrees with this literal interpretation.
One such user took to the platform and posted a 50 second video explaining that the Star of Jacob is not a physical star but a scriptural prophecy, as he cited the Bible verse 24:17.
Furthermore, a quick search on google also suggest that the Star of Jacob is a prophecy found in the Hebrew Bibleโs book of numbers. This story originates from the Balaam Cycle, where Balaam, a non-Hebrew prophet, blesses the King of Moab, Balak.
