Speaking about this, Kevin Vaz, head of Network Entertainment Channels at Disney Star, recently shared his excitement about the launch of both channels. According to him, these new additions have helped to create a cluster of five Hindi movie channels under the Star Gold brand.
He added that the move will effectively transform Star Gold from a standalone movie channel into a comprehensive network of movie channels. Highlighting recent research results, he stated that a significant 68% of the TV movie audience prefers to watch Hollywood movies dubbed in Hindi.
He further emphasized that the network aims to cater to the preferences of its audience by bridging the language gap and providing them with content they want to watch, with the help of new channels.
