What exactly happened so far?
The previous chapter starts with the Barbarians attacking the mechants group. Lamund at the same time, was teaching Vlad how to deal with the barbarians.

That’s when both Lamund and Vlad start their ambush and quickly defeat some barbarians. However, their ambush was not successful and caught the attention of the main group.
The barbarian head specially started to fight against Lamund as he was a knight. Lamund asked Vlad to head back and protect the merchants as he was not on a horse.
Vlad was also exchanging attacks with the barbarians who were riding the horse and realized that their attacks were quite heavy.
Suddenly he felt a feeling that he once felt before. From afar, a dust cloud could be seen approaching. Inside was the black horse who is called the son of Grasslands as he was running towards Vlad.
This is also the same horse that Vlad rode previously and was currently hunted by the barbarians. Their reunion will come in the upcoming chapter.
