The theme for this year’s festivities is ‘Like St. Francis Xavier, let us do what Jesus did.’ Although the feast day is on December 3, 2023, it will occur on December 4, 2023, this year due to liturgical reasons.

What are the timings for the novenas and the feast of St Francis Xavier 2023?
During the period spanning from November 25th to December 3rd, the schedule for the Novena comprises various timings for both morning and evening sessions. The morning sessions will begin at 6 am, 7:15 am, 8:30 am, 9:45 am, and 11 am. Additionally, there are evening sessions at 3:30 pm, 5 pm, and 6:15 pm specifically conducted in English.
These timings indicate the dedicated periods for the Novena, providing multiple opportunities for individuals to participate and engage in the spiritual observances or practices planned during these sessions. Bishop Fr. Sebastiao Mascarenhas will officiate the solemn high mass on the feast day. Notably, the live stream of the novena and feast day masses will be available on the Basilica’s and the Archdiocese’s YouTube channels.
