Canadians have a long history with gambling, so it shouldn’t come as a surprise that the online casino industry is thriving in the North American country and extending its sponsorship to teams
While a majority of its rise in Canada is owed to the evolution of technology over the years, the Canadians’ love for gambling also played an integral role in ensuring its growth in popularity in the last few years.
Canada Statistics carried out a survey which revealed that over 70% of the country’s population participate in gambling activities. This showed just how much Canadians love gambling, and it is the second-largest country in the world. The rise of online casinos in the country can also be attributed to the fierce competition in the industry which saw a lot of bonuses, promotions, extensive digital marketing and sponsorship deals being carried out by several platforms to increase brand awareness in the country.
