Southeast Asian SEA Games 2023: Women’s Indoor Volleyball Wednesday (May 20) results
Wednesday’s group stage matches took place at the Indoor Olympic Stadium in Phnom Penh. Ajcharaporn Kongyot led Thailand secured a semi-finals in the women’s indoor volleyball at the 2023 Southeast Asian Games. The team won against Myanmar in straight sets with scores of 25-8, 25-8, and 25-6. Thailand’s win in group A, means that the team are now one step closer to securing the title for a 14th time in a row.
Meanwhile in Group B the Philippines were unable to beat past Vietnam despite the presence of seasoned captain, Alyssa Valdez. Vietnam, who are the 2022 runners-up defeated the Filipinas in straight sets with scores of 25-20, 25-17, and 25-19. It was their second straight victory after previously beating Singapore on Tuesday.
