Malaysia have been one of the consistent performers at the Southeast Asian Games and in the ongoing edition, they have maintained their stellar play to gather 22 medals including four gold medals.

At the 32nd Southeast Asian Games, which take place in Cambodia from May 5โ€“17, 2023, more than 650 athletes from Malaysia participate. Team Malaysia aims to surpass the 174 medals achieved by its athletes at the last SEA Games in Hanoi, Vietnam, where they won 39 gold, 45 silver, & 90 bronze medals. Wan Athirah Hidayah Ahmad Fuzli won bronze in the women’s obstacle course to become Malaysia’s first medalist in the 2023 SEA Games, while Sharmalarani’s victory in kumite karate was the first Malaysian gold medal.

As per latest new, Malaysia have amassed total of 22 medals including 4 gold medals and 6 silver medals. Although, Malaysia are far behind the hosts Cambodia, they will expect to edge closer by bagging plenty of gold medals in the upcoming days.
