Football has played a significant role in the Southeast Asian Games over the years, and the Southeast Asian Games 2023 in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, won’t be any different. There are two football competitions in the 32nd SEA Games, one for men and one for women. While the eight-team women’s competition has no age restrictions, the men’s tournament at Cambodia 2023 is an under-22 affair with 10 nations participating.
Two groupings of nations have been established for both competitions. It is known that the top two teams from each group will advance to the semifinals following the group stages.
