At the Southeast Asian Games 2023 in Phnom Penh, the capital of Cambodia, eight distinct cricket tournaments will be played in four different formats: 50 overs, T20, T10, and 6s (six-a-side). There are events for both men and women in each format.
Six countries; Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, and Thailand; are participating in the men’s competition. The seventh team taking part in the women’s competition is Myanmar.
Despite being expected to compete, Vietnam withdrew. Only the hosts, Cambodia, will participate in all eight competitions.

The AZ Group Cricket Oval in Phnom Penh will serve as the site of all cricket competitions for the SEA Games in 2023.
Cricket will only be played at the SEA Games for the second time this year. The event made its debut at the 2017 Southeast Asian Games in Kuala Lumpur, including men’s T20 and 50-over tournaments as well as a women’s T20 competition.
Hosts Singapore won the men’s T20 gold medal, while Malaysia and Thailand took first place in the women’s T20 and men’s 50 overs, respectively.
