He is regarded as a legend in South Korea and worldwide by his Anyang Halla team. He joined the squad in 2009 and was a part of Anyang Halla’s six Asian league ice hockey victories. He was chosen captain in 2018 and has guided the team since then. Cho Min-ho has 124 goals and 324 assists in 393 games in the regular season.
Cause of death
Cho Min-ho died of lung cancer when he was 35 years old. At October 2021, shortly after returning from an expedition to the United States in Anyang Halla, he was diagnosed with lung cancer. For the last eight months, he had been undergoing chemotherapy. Cho Min-health ho’s has lately deteriorated, and he died on June 15, 2022, in the Samsung Seoul Hospital.

Cho Min-Ho scored the first goal for South Korea in Olympic hockey in 2018.
At the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Games, Cho Min-Ho scored the first goal in South Korean Olympic hockey history.
Cho scored South Korea’s lone goal of the PyeongChang Olympics preliminary round in 2018. In the first game against the Czech Republic, he scored after 7 minutes and 34 seconds. The Czechs scored two goals in the second half to win 2-1.

He captained South Korea in a last-chance, winner-take-all 2022 Olympic qualifying competition in August 2021, which Denmark won.
