South Korea’s Captain and Spur’s left midfielder took a blow in his thigh during the training session. Son appeared in the last game against Iraq which was a friendly match for full 90 minutes. Moreover, he was sidelined from the squad in the match against Lebanon. It was a World Cup qualifier match, where South Korea defeated Lebanon by 1-0.

The South Korean left the club for international duty after the match in week three. Furthermore, he appeared for the full 90 in the friendly against Iraq. Later on,  the news came that Son has been ruled out of the national camp and has a thigh problem. The Korean Football Association confirmed the news and said that he has felt some discomfort in his right calf. In the medical, it was found that he has got a calf sprain which will keep him away from the match against Lebanon.

South Korea has played all their matches for this international break. This means Son will not miss any match further for the national team. However, it is not confirmed that he will be fit for the match against Crystal Palace or not. Son is one of the important players for the Spurs as he was the second-highest goal-scorer for the club. Also, with the downfall of the relationship with Harry Kane and the club, Son stepped up and took the charge.
