The Red Devils will pay an initial loan fee of approximately $10 million (£8.5 million, €9.9 million), with the option to secure the player’s services permanently for an additional $21.5 million (£17.1 million, €19.9 million)  at the end of the loan period.

Additionally, performance-based add-ons of $5.6 million (£4.3 million, €5.2 million) are part of the agreement, should Manchester United opt for a permanent signing next June. This loan with an option to buy structure became essential due to Manchester United’s Financial Fair Play (FFP) concerns.

Amrabat’s absence from Fiorentina’s early-season fixtures further fueled speculation about his impending move to the Red Devils. When examining Sofyan Amrabat’s potential salary at Manchester United, it’s important to consider his previous earnings at his former club.

The figures suggest that Amrabat’s new salary could range from $4.1 million (£3.2 million, €3.7 million) to $4.5 million (£3.5 million, €4.1 million) annually, translating to weekly wages of around $88K (£69K, €81K) and a monthly sum of approximately $350K (£278K, €324K) to $360K (£286K, €333K).

The timing of Amrabat’s arrival at Manchester United couldn’t be better for the Premier League giants and is likely to wear the number 4 kit at the club. Manager Erik ten Hag has been grappling with midfield woes, evident in improving performances against Wolves and Tottenham Hotspur. With Mason Mount, the club’s latest signing, sidelined due to injury.

Erik ten Hag’s tactical approach places a significant emphasis on the role of a defensive midfielder in the build-up play. While Manchester United has formidable players like Casemiro and Christian Eriksen at their disposal, Amrabat’s addition provides valuable depth to the squad.

Sofyan Amrabat showcased his talent in Serie A with ACF Fiorentina. He accumulated a total of 107 appearances for the Italian club, primarily operating as a defensive midfielder.

During his time with Fiorentina, his weekly wages were in the vicinity of $38K (£30K, €35K), with annual earnings of around $1.96 million (£1.55 million, €1.81 million) and monthly income of approximately $163K (£129K, €150K).

Sofyan Amrabat has a net worth of $3.5 million (£2.7 million, €3.2 million) in 2023 and is set to become Erik ten Hag’s fourth signing on a hectic deadline day, alongside Sergio Reguilon, Altay Bayindir, and Jonny Evans.
