During the 2006 Winter Olympics, Shaun clinched the gold in the half-pipe sporting event. During the event, in his first run in qualifications, he was almost out of competition, but at the second round he aced it
White clinched his third consecutive snowboard halfpipe medal during the 2008 U.S. Open Snowboarding Championships, along with his third US Open slopestyle event. Post these wins, White won at the 25th in 2007 Burton US Open, where he clinched the slopestyle and first in the halfpipe.
During the 2007 Open, White was clinched the first “Burton Global Open Champion”.
Shaun clinched the FIS World Cup Men’s Halfpipe event at Vancouver’s Cypress Mountain on February 14, 2009.
During the 2010 Winter Olympics that held in Vancouver, White again secured the gold in the halfpipe. During the finals, White scored 46.8 during his first run, which resulted in the gold medal without a second run.
During Winter X, White was named the first person to score a perfect 100 in the men’s Snowboard Superpipe in the history of the event.
White secured his 6th consecutive SuperPipe title, where he secured the second position to ever achieve this, with SnoCross racer Tucker Hibbert achieving his 6th consecutive victory earlier in the same day.
Shaun won third place in the Pipe & Slope contest at the FIS Snowboard World Cup in Copper Mountain, Colorado in 2013.

Shaun White bid farewell to his glorious Olympics career. He proved that even at the age of 35 he’s still one of the world’s elite snowboarders. Though he concluded his sparkling career without any medal in the 2022 Beijing Olympics, also he is the only snowboarder to clinch three Olympic gold medals.
“A lot of emotions are hitting me right now — the cheering from the crowd, some kind words from my fellow competitors at the bottom. I’m so happy,” White said after his final conclusion in the Beijing Games.
