After winning three of his four matches, Jordan Brown is currently leading Group-2 at the BetVictor Snooker Championship League Invitational in Leicester. After being eliminated in the playoffs for Group-1, Brown returned on Wednesday to play in Group-2. On Wednesday, Brown defeated Barry Hawkins by a score of 3-0 before securing another whitewash victory over Jamie Jones. Later in his fourth match of the day, Brown won against Robert Milkins by score of 3-1 to hold the reign of the group with two matches left to be played on Thursday.

Ryan Day, who had won preliminary stage of Group-1 but lost to Hawkins yesterday, avenged his loss by winning 3-1 against Hawkins. In the evening, Hawkins had work to do, and he reacted forcefully by defeating Jones 3-0. Despite losing to Jack Lisowski in yesterday’s group final match, Matthew Selt defeated Brown this morning by a score of 3-0 before defeating Hawkins 3-1 to round out the day. Stuart Bingham, however, still has work to do after winning only one of his first three games.
