According to authorities on Monday, a 24-year-old lady Smriti Jain and her male friend were taken into custody for reportedly posting a p*rn*graphic film of an elderly man on the internet.

Police in Noida apprehended software engineer Smriti Jain, who lived in Dodaghat, Uttar Pradesh, and Shanu Kumar, who was 28 years old and from Vaishali, Bihar, and took them to Jaisalmer.
Software Engineers Smriti Jain from UP and her partner Shanu Kumar from Bihar were arrested by Jaisalmer Police from Delhi for making obscene video of a 70 years old Shepherd in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan after the couple went there as a tourist and called the old Shepherd on the pretext of asking directions.
When the Shepherd came closer the n*de woman sitting in the car came out and asked the old man to touch her. The old man first hesitated but later touched her body parts after being insisted by the couple again and again and her partner filmed the entire incident and later they blurred the face of Smriti and posted the video on porn sites and social media.

Circle Officer Jaisalmer Roop Singh Inda stated, “They were placed under arrest on Saturday,” and the defendants are currently in judicial custody. The accused were suspected of filming further movies of this type, including one in the Dausa district.
Shanu Kumar was allegedly behind the wheel when Smriti Jain recorded a 70-year-old guy in Jaisalmer getting lured and engaging in lewd behaviour with her. The issue surfaced on May 4 after the video was posted on a p*rn website.
Following the release of the video, the Jaisalmer police took notice, filed a case at the Tanot police station, and began an investigation.
According to the footage, an elderly guy who was grazing sheep and goats is called by a woman and her partner after they pull over in a remote area. Later, the elderly man was featured in p*rn*graphic videos.

Given the gravity of the situation, District Superintendent of Police Sudhir Chaudhary has taken urgent notice and directed the Tanot police station to initiate action on the directive of Jodhpur Range Inspector General of Police Vikas Kumar. Omkaran Charan, the in-charge of the Tanot police station, informed the media that the police had filed a case under the applicable provisions of the IT Act and had begun an inquiry into the technical analysis of the film as well as the identities and roles of the individuals depicted in it.
Sudhir Chaudhary, the district superintendent of police, stated unequivocally that sharing offensive and derogatory content on social media is a serious offense. Anyone caught sharing, enjoying, or forwarding such videos will face severe legal repercussions, he warned. He has pleaded with the public to refrain from sharing such movies and to report them right away to the local police station if they come across one.
