Nakash Aziz was born on 24th February 1985 in Mangalore, Karnataka, India to Shamshad and Naushad. He is 5ft 9in tall and 70 kg in weight. Aziz attended Patkar College, Mumbai.
He married Ruby Shaikh in August, 2020 and now lives in Mumbai with his family. Nakash’s father, Naushad Aziz was also a stage singer who used to perform with his brothers under their band the “Rema Roses.”
Naksh Aziz belongs to a Muslim Family and is the son of Naushad Aziz, former bank employee, and Shamshad, homemaker. He has learned classical music first from Sublab Saha and from Maqbool Hussain.
His musical journey spans various genres, including Filmi, Indian pop, Folk-pop, acoustic music, and pop rock.

Moving to 2012, in the film Agent Vinod, he performed “Pungi,” composed by Pritam with Amitabh Bhattacharya as the lyricist. The co-singers included Mika Singh, Amitabh Bhattacharya, Pritam, and Javed Jaffrey. In Cocktail, he sang “Second Hand Jawaani,” also composed by Pritam with lyrics by Amitabh Bhattacharya. The co-singers were Miss Pooja and Neha Kakkar.
In 2013, for the movie R… Rajkumar, Nakash sang “Saree Ke Fall Sa (Touch Karke)” composed by Pritam, with Mayur Puri as the lyricist and Antara Mitra as the co-singer. He also performed the film version of “Gandi Baat” with Anupam Amod and Ritu Pathak.
