Indiaโs PV Sindhu, will be looking for a better performance this time out. The two-time Olympic medallistย is coming off a shock exit in the first round in the recently concluded Thailand Openย
She will begin her Singapore Open campaign against Malaysia Masters 2023 winner and World rank no.1 Japanese shuttler Akane Yamaguchi.
Meanwhile, Saina Nehwal will begin her Singapore Open campaign against Thailandโs world No. 8 Ratchanok Intanon.

Indiaโs HS Prannoy will return to the men’s singles following his maiden world title win at the Malaysia Masters 2023. He will first play against Japanโs world No. 3 Kodai Naraoka. Lakshya Sen will also compete in the same category beginning with his opening clash against Chinese Taipeiโs Chou Tien Chen in the round of 32.
Meanwhile, Kidambi Srikanth, the former world No. 1 will compete against Thailandโs Kantaphon Wangcharoen in the opener. Priyanshu Rajawat, the Orleanโs Masters 2023 winner, will also take part in the action.
Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty, the world rank 4 menโs duo and Swiss Open 2023 winners will compete against Japanese duo Akira Koga and Taichi Saito in the round of 32.
