The third and fourth episodes of Silent Witness’s 26th season will air at 9 p.m. on January 9 and 10, respectively, on BBC One and iPlayer.

The Lyell crew is called in to investigate when a lorry is discovered abandoned at a quarry in the two-part episode with the working title Familiar Faces.

Investigators believe there may have been sex trafficking after discovering multiple dead and dying persons inside.

However, it quickly becomes apparent that not everything is as it seems, and because the survivors are silent, Nikki and the crew must use their forensic expertise to put together precisely what happened.
