June 11, would have been the 32nd birthday of singer Sidhu Moosewala. The late artist’s father has released three new tracks in honour of his birthday.

On May 29, 2022, Sidhu Moosewala, a well-known Punjabi singer, was sadly shot dead in Jawaharke village, Mansa district, when he was 28 years old. Millions of his admirers are still grieving over his untimely passing.

The fan base of Sidhu Moose Wala is still strong and his popularity is still rising three years after his passing. Three new songs, “0008,” “Neal,” and “Take Notes,” were posted on his official YouTube page on his birthday. Moosewala’s new EP, Moose Print, contains these songs. A total of 11 songs have now been released after the Punjabi singer was murdered.

The most awaited song was Take Notes, a diss track by Sidhu aimed at his fake friends in the Punjabi music industry. His father had spoken about the track prior to its release, revealing how the song’s lyrics talked about what he had been going through in the aftermath of his son’s death and how Sidhu had already spoken about the topic prior to his demise.

Sidhu also speaks about the Dirba incident in his “Take notes” song in the new EP.

The songs, which were released the morning of his birthday, have already gained millions of views and become hits. “Take Notes” had received 1.9 million views at the time this article was written, compared to 1.7 million and 1.6 million views for “0008” and “Neal,” respectively.

The songs were published soon after The Killing Call, a two-part documentary broadcast by the BBC. Despite a legal fight, the episodes were made available.

Even after Balkaur Singh, Moosewala’s father, petitioned a Mansa court to halt the documentary’s release, it was nonetheless made public. June 12 is the date of the court hearing.

According to reports, some of Moose Wala’s friends, journalists, and law enforcement officials are interviewed in the BBC documentary. An audio conversation with gangster Goldy Brar, who is charged with planning Moosewala’s murder, is also purportedly included.

One of the most adored and well-known voices in Punjabi music, Sidhu Moose Wala was renowned for his distinctive style, deep voice, and potent lyrics.

In May 2022, Sidhu Moosewala, whose real name was Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu, was shot and killed in Punjab’s Mansa district. The attack was claimed by Canadian criminal Goldy Brar and a member of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. Many of Sidhu’s posthumous works have since been published, garnering both critical and financial interest.
