Kyle LeDuc bio and age

Kyle LeDuc was an American professional racing driver who was born on July 29, 1981, in Cherry Valley, California, USA. He was 42 years old at the time of his passing. The veteran racer just recently passed away on November 11, 2023. Kyle mainly competed in short-course off-road truck racing alongside his co-driver, Sara Price. He last competed for the Chip Ganassi Racing team. He had an older brother named Todd LeDuc, who is also a monster truck driver.

LeDuc, 42, is survived by his wife Amber and their two children and had a net worth of $1-5 million.

Cause of death

Kyle LeDuc passed away after a long battle with cancer. According to reports, Kyle was diagnosed with stage IV neck and head cancer around November 2022. However, he shared the news about his illness publicly earlier this year in June. While sharing the news about his illness he declared that he would sit out the rest of the 2023 Championship season and instead focus on his own health and recovery. The racing legend maintained an optimistic attitude towards his fight with cancer right up to his death.

Kyle LeDuc passes away

Following his death, Championship Off-Road confirmed the news about Kyle’s death on Sunday, November 12. They stated the following:

It is with extremely heavy hearts that we share the news that 7x PRO4 Champion Kyle LeDuc has passed away after a year-long battle with cancer. LeDuc remains a legend in the off-road world and one of the winningest drivers in short-course history, including the 2020 Championship Off-Road Pro 4 title. He was a passionate champion and intense competitor whose infectious energy will be missed on and off the track.”

Kyle LeDuc career

As a professional driver, Kyle competed in short-course off-road truck racing. Throughout his career. During his time as a professional driver, he registered over 100 career wins and won seven Pro 4 class championships. His best career finish came in 2021, when he finished in 8th place.  LeDuc last competed in Chip Ganassi Racing’s Extreme E electric rally series back in the 2022 season. He finished the race in fifth place, while back in 2021, he finished in eighth. LeDuc has been involved with the electric rally series ever since its foundation.

Following his tragic death, fans and friends from all corners came forward to share their tributes and condolences. Sara Price, Kyle’s Extreme E teammate and co-driver, talked about the tragic news on her Instagram. Sara reminisced about their win last year and described Kyle LeDuc as the fastest man behind an off-road vehicle’s wheel. She shared how LeDuc continued to push boundaries in the athletic field and added that he was a loving husband to his wife, Amber LeDuc as well as a fantastic father to his two children.
