After graduating from the public Wheatley School in Old Westbury, New York, Engoron is said to be an editor of the high school alumni newsletter. The newsletter has drawn criticism from the followers of the former president due to an old edition that had a shirtless selfie of the judge’s upper body.

After learning about the Wheatley School Alumni Association newsletter through Raw Story, the judge declined to comment, but he had previously stated that he spent his free time working out at the gym and lifting weights.

A cursory glance through the high school alumni newsletter reveals details about the alumni’s lives beyond graduation, including their interests. The newsletter provides up-to-date information on the current endeavours of the graduated students. But a shirtless selfie known as the “Bonus torso photo,” which seemed to have been taken at a gym restroom and displayed Engoron’s muscles, has angered a lot of people.

Followers of Mr. Trump are now after Engoron

Following their discovery in an old high school alumni newsletter, the judge overseeing the former president’s fraud case posted gym selfies that have been widely ridiculed on social media. The pictures showed a “before and after,” and a self-portrait dated October 2020 with the words “bonus torso photo” written underneath it. Supporters of Trump were infuriated by the pictures when they were shared on several social media sites.

Both Trump and his allies have disparaged Engoron, calling the judge a prejudiced Democrat in their remarks. After the former president mounted the witness stand in the $250 million civil fraud lawsuit charging him, his two eldest sons, and his corporation with inflating their assets, Engoron was compelled to have a heated conversation with Trump’s attorney on Monday.

The judge had to order the defence lawyer to restrain her client because the former president launched into a diatribe during his testimony that had nothing to do with the prosecutor’s line of inquiry. Trump mocked Engoron on Truth Social prior to Monday’s testimony, referring to him as “a really Biased, Nasty, club-controlled, but often overturned Judge.” Trump continued to claim that this was an unfair trial throughout the proceedings.
