Delhi High Court judge grants divorce to Shikhar Dhawan

A Delhi High Court judge named Judge Harish Kumar in the family court, Patiala House officially granted divorce to Shikhar Dhawan from his wife Ayesha Mukherjee. According to the Judge, Shikhar Dhawan endured mental grief after Ayesha refused to let him be with his son Zoravar for years. According to Shikhar Dhawan’s family, they had not seen the child since 2020.

Moreover, Ayesha was supposed to bring Zorawar to India on June 17, 2023, but stated reason surrounding his school. The court later moved the event to July 1, but Mukherjee once again disagreed and stated that the event would be a failure because many extended family members were not aware about the new date.

Shikhar Dhawan is a professional Indian cricketer who was born on December 5, 1985 in New Delhi, India. He was born in a Punjabi Family, to parents Mahendra Pal Dhawan and Sunaina Dhawan and has a sister named Shreshta Dhawan.

Shikhar did his schooling from St. Mark’s Senior Secondary Public School in Meera Bagh, Delhi. After his schooling he started training at the Sonnet Club under coach Tarak Sinha, a renowned coach in India.

Shikhar Dhawan started out his cricketing journey with the Delhi Under-16s back in the 1999–2000 Vijay Merchant Trophy. The following year, he was the competition’s top run-scorer in 2000–2001 with Delhi finishing second. Later in February 2001, Dhawan represented the North Zone Under-16s team in the Vijay Hazare Trophy.

Dhawan then represented India in the 2004 Under-19 World Cup in Bangladesh, finishing with a total of 505 runs. He emerged as the tournament’s top run-scorer. Later that year in November, Dhawan made his first-class debut for Delhi at the Ranji Trophy 2004–05. He hit an impressive 49 runs in his opening innings.

The 37-year-old then made his IPL debut back in 2008 with the Delhi Daredevils and made his ODI debut in 2010. He then made his T20 and Test debuts in 2011 and 2013 respectively. One of his most notable moments was when he got selected to serve as India’s captain in 2021.
