Shaqir O’Neal was born on April 13, 2003 to parents Shaq and Shaunie. He was born when his father Shaq was at his peak coming off three NBA titles. Shaqir is the youngest among his brothers, Shareef and Myles. His older brother Shareef also currently plays in the NBA G League after he went undrafted in 2022.
Aside from them, he also has three sisters named Taahira, Amirah, and Me’ara. Despite his parents’ divorce in 2016 after a long marriage, Shaqir has continued to play solid basketball. Shaqir has so far spent three years playing at Crossroad Schools. During those three years, he has averaged 19.8 points, 11.3 rebounds, and 2.4 blocks per game. Eventually, Shaqir moved in with Shaq.
