Serie A Winners List: Known to be second most important league in Europe, let’s take a look at the Serie A Champions since 2000 and which club has truly been the undisputed Italian Giant.
The Serie A is Italy’s footballing top-most tier, which is known as the best defensive league in the world. Unlike Premier League or La Liga, the Serie A footballing style is much more calm, composed and dominant. The heritage of many Italian clubs have been build on the basis of these traits.
However, since the induction of the modern-era of Italian football, there have been 2 clubs who have stamped their authority not only in the Serie A domestic circuit. But also in the UEFA Champions League, Juventus and Inter Milan. So how successful have these clubs been since 2000 and how many Serie A Championship have these two clubs won since that year?

As the above chart suggests Juventus has been the most dominant side in the Italian Domestic Footballing Circuit having won the Serie A Champion 11 times since 2000 itself. Whereas Inter Milan have not lacked behind, winning 6 Serie A Championship.
Whereas AC Milan have not only found glory in the Serie A Championship since 2000, but have also lifted the UEFA Champions League during that time span. While AS Roma and Lazio both have won just 1 Serie A Title each since 2000.
The 2006 Serie A Match-Fixing Scandal
In 1929 Divisione Nazionale split into two Championships- Divisione Nazionale Serie A and Divisione Nazionale Serie B. Having said that, in 2006 Serie A also had its biggest scandal which involved alleged widespread match fixing implicating league champions Juventus, and other major teams including Florentino, Milan, Reggin and Lazio.
The governing body stripped of their title, relegated to Serie B and start the upcoming season with a nine-point deduction. The other clubs involved in the famous scandal suffered similar fate with relegation and points deduction.
