Club Career
During the 2002–03 season, Aguero made his debut for Independiente. Before leaving for Atletico Madrid for a rumoured 15 million euros, he played there for four seasons. The Argentinean played there for five seasons and led the team with 74 goals. After that, he transferred to Manchester City in 2011 for a 45-million-euro price.
Sergio contributed to Manchester City’s first-ever Premier League championship with 143 goals scored while playing for them. Aguero left Manchester City after nearly a decade of service and joined Barcelona on a free transfer.
