Dest’s move to PSV was facilitated by a loan deal between the Dutch side and Barcelona, This move comes as no surprise, given Dest’s versatility and potential to shine on the field. The American defender’s journey, from his native Netherlands to Spain and back.

Reports indicate that PSV will be covering nearly half of Dest’s salary, underscoring their commitment to securing his services. If the Dutch club chooses to make the transfer permanent, an additional fee of approximately $5.5 million (£4.3 million, €5 million) would be in the offing. The 22-year-old’s return to the Eredivisie carries sentimental value as he reunites with his former Barcelona teammate, Luuk de Jong.

In terms of salary, Dest could potentially earn around $11.7 million (£9.2 million, €10.8 million)  per year at PSV, marking a potential upswing from his recent earnings, Dest has a net worth of $2 million (£1.5 million, €1.8 million) in 2023.
