What Exactly Happened so far?
Krul was draining Guren’s blood and even Mahiru wasn’t able to intervene between them. She was drinking too much blood Guren which was notified by Mahiru. Krul then started to choke out and Mahiru informed how it was a slow-acting poison.
Krul becomes helpless as a result of the mixed poison. After receiving the command to swallow Krul, Ferid obediently obeys. Next, we saw the past where Krul and Ashera were human children and how they swore to protect each other.
They both assure themself that they will protect one another if the situation arises. Krul now thinks that humans are the true monsters. Mahiru and Guren assure her that they will keep her promise. After Ferid was done devouring Krul, he started to think about killing Guren and Mahiru.
But then he just says that he was just acting. Next, when Arcane appears, Ferid makes him drink his blood and it goes to change. Now he was the new Krul and Master for him. Crowley, Horn, and Chess are all in Ferid, and Krul is stuck in the tree with them at the end of the chapter.
