Thierry Rautureau, popularly known as the “Chef in the Hat,” was born and raised in France before relocating to the United States at the age of 20. In addition, he co-hosted the radio program Seattle Kitchen on KIRO 97.3FM in addition to being a chef. He was a judge on one season of MasterChef USA and appeared on several Food Network cooking shows.
