The Indonesian weightlifting team has already won three gold medals. The closing ceremony for the 31st Southeast Asian Games 2021 in Vietnam is slated for Monday, May 23, with Indonesia placing third overall in the medal tally.

As of Sunday, Indonesian competitors have won 69 gold medals, 91 silver medals, and 81 bronze medals in a variety of sports. This places Indonesia in third place, behind first-place finisher Vietnam (205 gold, 125 silver, and 116 bronze) and second-place finisher Thailand (92 gold, 103 silver, and 136 bronze) with Vietman smashing the games with a mammoth 446 medals in total.
