When play restarted, Wilson regained his lead by winning fifth-frame and making it 3-2 thanks to a break of 88. Un-Nooh, however, replied right away to tie the score at 3-3. From there, Wilson started to make his move and with breaks of 122 & 130, he moved to the brink of victory by making it 5-3. Despite Un-Nooh winning the ninth frame to make it 5-4, Wilson held his nerve and scored 115 break to win 6-4.
