Scott Matthew Parker is a 42-year-old professional football manager and a former England International, who used to play as a midfielder. He became the first coach in the 2022-23 Premier League season to be sacked by Bournemouth AFC. He has now been appointed as the head coach of the Belgian top-flight club, Club Brugge.
Playing Career
Scott Matthew Parker made his professional debut with Charlton Athletic. He was then loaned out to Norwich City before joining Premier League giants Chelsea in 2004 for a price of £10 million. He did not, however, obtain a regular starting spot in the club and eventually opted to join New Castle United in 2007.
He has also represented West Ham United, Tottenham Hotspur, and Full Ham. He played 119 appearances for Full Ham in both the Premier League and the Championship before retiring in 2016. He debuted for the senior England team in 2003 and was also a member of the England side that reached the Euro 2012 quarterfinals.
Coaching Career
Scott Parker has formerly managed the Tottenham U-18 squad, Full Ham, and AFC Bournemouth. After being sacked by AFC Bournemouth in the 2022-23 season, he became the head coach of Club Brugge on December 31, 2022.
