The 37-year-old player Cristiano Ronaldo is serving the first part of a two-match suspension which has been carried over from his time as a Manchester United player. It is suggested that Al Nassr might be willing to defy that ban and hand Ronaldo his debut anyway.

Cristiano Ronaldo was left out because of suspension on Friday and he will instead begin his Al Nassr career in real on the 22nd of January against the Ettifaq. Friday’s game between the team Al Nassr and Al-Ta’ee had basically been scheduled for Thursday but due to an electrical fault at Mrsool Park, caused by heavy rain forced a postponement in it on the grounds.
