The MMA champion allegedly punched, kicked, and threatened to drown Samantha Murphy, 40, before she leapt from the massive ship and broke her arm.

After travelling back to Ireland, she filed an official complaint regarding McGregor, 34, with Dublin police. At the request of McGregor’s attorneys, the inquiry into the alleged incident, which is said to have taken place on her superyacht in Ibiza in July 2022, has been reopened in Spain. The Irish police stated: “Gardai are investigating suspected criminal damage by fire event that occurred at a residential building in Drimnagh, Dublin 12 at about 10 p.m. on Thursday, January 19, 2023.” During this occurrence, no injuries were mentioned.

At this time, no arrests have been made. The inquiries continue. McGregor has not been connected to the fire. According to Ms Murphy’s mother that the fire was very alarming. When someone attempted to put her daughter’s car on fire, she was with her daughter at the time.

According to reports, Ms Murphy told Irish police that McGregor suddenly became aggressive, kicked and assaulted her before threatening to drown her while celebrating his birthday party. Periodico de Ibiza said that she attributed her initial reluctance to press charges in Spain to being shocked by her testimony to the Irish police. She was only wearing a bikini when she jumped in. The only thing she wanted was to get back to her hotel as soon as possible, but she had no money and no phone.

According to a court in Ibiza, an investigation has been conducted into the incident, which took place off the coast of the island of Formentera. Guardia Civil “ruled out” that Conor McGregor was the offender or even participated in the incident when the claims initially surfaced in August. The UFC fighter hasn’t been charged with any offences just yet, as is normal in Spain.
