The talented batsman Sam Northeast was born in 1989 in Walmer(a town in Kent) and is aged 32 at the moment.. He did his schooling at Harrow school. He also got a sports scholarship there as he was always a sporty individual. Sam was an all-rounder at sports as he was good in every single sport in school including cricket. He was a county squash player and a Cross country runner.
Sam won a lot of national awards in his cricketing career in his early days. He was announced as BBC Test Match’s special young cricketer of the year. He also won a Gray Nicolls best schools cricketer award in 2005. His great cricketing skills won him scholarships.
He made his first-class debut in 2007 for Kent. Since then he has played for 5 different cricket clubs. Currently, he is playing for Glamorgan county cricket club. It’s surprising to know that such a talented batsman hasn’t played international cricket yet.
