Sam Bruce, a former member of the Miami Hurricanes and a fan favourite, has departed for a heavenly abode, know about his cause of death and car accident
In a Facebook post on Thursday, Bruce’s high school, St. Thomas Aquinas, announced the former football star’s death. It reads,

Who Is Sam Bruce?
Sam was born in the city of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, in the year 1998. From 2018 to 2021, Sam served as the special team’s coordinator and tight end coach at the University of Alabama until being hired by Steve Sarkisian, the new head coach at the University of Texas.
He is single and has never been married. The identity of Sam Bruce’s girlfriend remains unknown. He is the nephew of NFL Hall of Fame player Isaac Bruce.
He is a professional sportsman who plays wide receiver for the Miami Hurricanes and is a member of the National Collegiate Athletic Association.
He died at the age of 24.
His Career
He was a former outstanding wide receiver prospect out of St. Thomas Aquinas who had a brief experience with the Miami Hurricanes. In 2014, the wide receiver committed to the University of Miami Hurricanes. He was expelled for repeated team rules breaches months into his freshman season, therefore he never played a game for the squad.
In 2021, Bruce revealed that he had broken the rules by falling asleep in meetings and missed the team van on a game day versus Florida State. After leaving the University of Miami, Bruce went on to Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College and then Southeastern University, according to the Sun-Sentinel.
He joined with the Indoor Football League’s Frisco Fighters, however, the season was cut short due to the coronavirus epidemic in March 2020.
Death Cause Of Sam Bruce
Bruce had a stroke after being engaged in a vehicle collision on the road in Fort Lauderdale at about 8:23 p.m. on Wednesday.
According to a representative for the Ft. Lauderdale Police Department, when medics arrived on the scene, they administered CPR on Bruce before taking him to a local hospital. Bruce died on Thursday morning at the hospital.
The FLPD spokesperson said,
At this time the circumstances surrounding this incident are not suspicious and foul play is not suspected.
Many people reached out to the Fort Lauderdale Police Department for further information, but they did not answer right away.
