Salute Dulquer Salmaan Movie New Release Date 2022, OTT And Why Was It Postponed
The Salute movie was going to make its theatrical appearance theater release in January on 14th in the year 2022 across the globe. The Male Lead actor and the Mollywood heartthrob Dulquer Salman released the poster of his, cop action drama thriller Salute with writing a caption on it “Aravind Karunakaran is on a mission!.
Also, he wrote #Salute releasing in all the theaters across the globe in January on 14th, in the year 2022”. Malayalam film actor and producer, Mr. Muhammad Kutty Panaparambil Ismail aka Mammootty also uploaded the poster of the movie with the same caption on it.
However the movie has now been postponed owing to the fresh wave of COVID in India despite theatres in Kerala being allowed to function at a 50% capacity. There is no update on a new release date currently with one set to come only once the cases subside.
Moreover, it was being predicted that the movie could have a post-theatrical digital release on Netflix. A release date for OTT will only come once the movie has hit the theatres.

One of the most dashing Malayalam Superstars Dulquer Salmaan is playing the role of the lead role of Sub-Inspector Aravind Karunakaran. The Bollywood actor Diana Penty will be seen in the main female role and it will be her debut Malayalam film.
The movie which has Dulquer Salmaan, Manoj K. Jayan, Diana Penty and is directed By Roshan Andrews was made on a budget of Rs.50 crore. The film’s story and screenplay is written by Bobby and Sanjay with this being a police thriller.
The movie is produced under the banner Wayfarer Films and has Aslam K. Puraiyil as the cinematographer while A. Sreekar Prasad did the editing and Santhosh Narayanan composed the original background score.
