Kajol starrer 2022 Hindu-language movie Salaam Venky, which was released on December 9, 2022 is all set to drop on our screens once again via OTT, know its release date
For those who are unversed, let us tell you, the movie is the 5th directorial venture of veteran actress Revathy.
The movie is based on a book “The Last Hurrah,” which was written by Shrikant Murthy, along with screen-play writer and dialogues writer Sammeer Arora and Kausar Munir respectively.
The movie is the comeback of the actress as a director after 12 long years. The film was announced back on October 7, 2021 and released on December 9, 2022.

For those who are curious about the OTT release date of the movie, let us remind you, the movie was announced back in October, 2021 and was tentatively titled The Last Hurrah, as it is based on a book of the same name.
However, later the name was changed to Salaam Venky when the shooting of the movie commenced. The movie has completed its shooting in April, 2022 with the remaining shoot of some parts including Aamir Khan’s cameo which was shot later, last year.
The film wrapped up its filming in October 2022 and landed on the big screens in cinemas in December, 2022.
Now the family drama is all set to hit our screens via OTT on Friday, February 10, 2023 on Zee5.
The Times of India outlet described the film as “The heart-touching fare, replete with positivity as much as pain, is a must-watch.”
As per the IMDb page, the story of the movie revolves around an ideal mother, Sujata, who battled the most challenging situations.
As per the several reports, the movie received a mixed response from the audience as it is rated 7.4/10, 4.0/5 by Times of India, 2.0/5 by Bollywood Hungama and is liked by 67% on Fandango and by 25% people on Rotten Tomatoes.
