The focus then shifted to Sakamoto confronting Uzuki, who remained unyielding despite Sakamoto’s efforts to figure out why Rion was murdered. Uzuki revealed his JAA enslavement, which had caused him pain and loneliness. Surprisingly, he claimed to be free. The chapter included a fight between Sakamoto and Uzuki, but the outcome was not revealed.
Sakamoto resisted shooting Uzuki from a closed range after Uzuki requested to die while looking at the sky.
