The makers of the Sakamoto Days manga announced the release date of Chapter 100 as they stated the latest chapter will be published in the upcoming issue of weekly Shōnen Jump Magazine
The previous chapter of the manga made us quite emotional as we got to learn the reason behind Yotsumura killing his wife in front of his child.

Although we were expecting flashbacks of Yotsumura and Shishiba, nobody saw this coming at all. The fact that the former was the 2nd main member of JAA was quite fascinating but it was quite emotional to see the man getting tricked by the person he loved most.
The memory flashback that took place in the previous chapter is from 8 years ago, where we witness Shishiba working under Yotsumura while the latter had a family and he also talks about love.
However, he also knows that his wife doesn’t need any protection as she is also a pro-assassin herself.
Now we all learned the much needed backstory behind the mysterious character, it is quite hard to predict what will happen in the latest chapter of the manga.
