SA20 2023 is an entirely new concept launched by Cricket South Africa to revive the popularity of cricket in South Africa. The SA2O T20 league is in its debut season. On Tuesday (January 10), the Paarl Royals and MI Cape Town played their first league game.

The tournament includes six teams, each of which is owned by the IPL team owners. Like the IPL, the SA20 will feature one of the most destructive batters in the world in the shortest version of the game. With that stated, in this piece, we’ll look at the names of each SA20 franchise owner.

1) Durban’s Super Giants – Lucknow Super Giants

The Lucknow Super Giants were one of two new franchises that made their debut in the IPL 2022 season. Lucknow Super Giants, who made their IPL debut in 2022, have expanded their franchise to South Africa, where they own the Durban’s Super Giants in the SA20 league.

3) MI Cape Town – Reliance Jio

The Mumbai Indians is the most successful team in IPL history, and they are owned by Reliance Jio. Mumbai Indians have also opted to extend their franchise in South Africa, and they now own MI Capetown in the SA20 league.

4) Paarl Royals – Royal Groups

Rajasthan Royals, the first winners of the IPL, are owned by Royal Groups. They also own the Paarl Royals of the SA20 league.

5) Pretoria Capitals – JSW Group Delhi Capitals

JSW Group Delhi Capitals owns one of the most well-known IPL teams, the Delhi Capitals. They also own the Pretoria Capitals of the SA20 league.

6) Sunrisers Eastern Cape – SUN Group

Sunrisers Hyderabad won the 2016 season of the IPL, which is owned by the SUN Group. They also own the Pretoria Capitals of the SA20 league.
