The 9-year-old Jetshen Dohna Lama has been named the winner of “Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs Season 9.” This show is India’s longest-running singing reality TV programme for children that aired on Zee TV.

Jetshen Dohna Lama started playing music when she was just three years old. She ignited the stage on Sunday’s Blockbuster Grand Finale with her own distinctive voice and gestures dressed in rock star garb. Her outstanding performances of two songs, “Roop Tera Mastana” from the movie “Aradhana,” originally sung by Kishor Kumar, and “Batdmeez Dil” from the movie “Yeh Jawani Yeh Diwani.” The judges also picked Jetshen up in their arms and hugged her like a butterfly.

Jetshen Won Audience And Guest Jackie Shroff’s Heart

Jackie Shroff endorsed Jetshen in his remarks regarding the performance. Her mesmerising performance made Shroff bow down in front of Jetshen. Celebrating Jackie Shroff’s 40 years as “Jaggu Dada” in Bollywood, contestants sang songs from his movie Tera Naam Liya and Tu Meri Janu Hai Tu Meri Dilbar.

Even the judge, Shankar Mahadevan, gave her the moniker “Mini Sunidhi Chauhan.” The Sikkim chief minister and boxing champion Mary Kom both expressed their admiration for the young girl via social media.

Every judge, jury member, and celebrity visitor has praised the young contestant for her intense performances throughout the season.

Winners Winning Amounts

In addition to winning the Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs 9, Jetshen Dohna Lama received prize money of Rs 10 lakh. Following are the position and winning amounts of the contestants. 

  • 1st Runner-up Harsh Sikandar, Rs 5 Lakh
  • 2nd Runner-up Dnyaneshwari Gadage, Rs 3 Lakh
  • 4th Place: Atanu Mishra
  • 5th Place: Atharva Bakshi
  • 6th Place: Rafa Yeasmin

Each of the six finalists has received Rs 1 lakh from singer and composer Shanker Mahadeva, in addition to free training at his Training Academy.
