He used to be in the famous British pop band S Club 7. A statement from the musician’s family says that he was found dead in his home in Dorset on Thursday, April 6.

The statement read, “It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of our beloved son and brother Paul Cattermole. Paul was found yesterday, 6 April 2023, at his home in Dorset and was pronounced dead later that afternoon.” The statement also said that the cause of his death is currently unknown. His net worth stood at 1.5 million pounds.
The Dorset Police have stated that Paul Cattermole’s death was not caused by anything strange. During this time, the family, friends, and fellow members of S Club 7 have asked for privacy.
Cattermole’s old bandmates also said something on Twitter about how sad they were about his death. “We are devastated to hear of the passing of our dear friend and bandmate, Paul Cattermole,” the statement read. “Our thoughts and condolences are with his family at this time.”

When Paul Cattermole joined S Club 7 in 1998, he was only 21 years old. The group was made by Simon Fuller, who used to be the boss of the Spice Girls. They signed with Polydor Records and became one of the most popular pop groups of the late 1990s and early 2000s.
S Club 7 was famous for their catchy, upbeat pop songs and bright music videos. Their first song, “Bring It All Back,” went to No. 1 on the UK charts in 1999. Then group went on to make more hits like “S Club Party” and “Don’t Stop Movin’.”

Paul Cattermole died just a few weeks after S Club 7 said they would get back together for a national tour. The group said they were excited to be back on stage together after eight years. They were going to play in halls all over the UK.
