Prior to joining the Clippers, Westbrook was reportedly considering offers from the Chicago Bulls, Miami Heat, and Washington Wizards. However, the 34-year-old eventually decided to join the Clippers. The Clippers are currently one of the teams to watch out for in the second half of the 2022-23 season.

Westbrook’s time with the Lakers was a bit of a rollercoaster ride, although he did improve during the 2022-23 season. Westbrook previously played alongside former OKC Thunder teammate Paul George and thrived together. As such, the Clippers will be hoping to see Westbrook regain that form with him.

Westbrook will undoubtedly provide a serious boost to the team. He will most likely play alongside superstar wings Paul George and Kawhi Leonard, which will provide the Clippers with another interesting wrinkle in the rotation. Los Angeles currently have a 33-28 record going into the second half of the NBA season.
