On 22nd July, famous magazine TOILETPAPER’s largest exhibition to date known as ‘RUN AS SLOW AS YOU CAN’ was revealed to the public at the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre. Notably, this exhibition is organized by Mafalda Millies and Roya Sachs with Elizabeth Edelman serving as executive producer. It contemplates the daily duality of contemporary life in four unique parts, utilizing photography, design, and architecture to take a closer, more critical look at the houses we live in, the possessions we own, and the people who surround us. In addition to providing the viewer with food for thought, the setup offers them a ton of Instagram-worthy frames with crazy color pops and intriguing details.

What is the uniqueness of ‘RUN AS SLOW AS YOU CAN’ exhibition?

From 22nd July through 22nd October, the exhibition will be available for the viewers to enjoy at the Art House inside Cultural Centre. During one statement, the authorities have confirmed that free entry will be provided for kid less than seven years old, senior citizens, or art students. On Saturday, diverse range of international figures, including well-known artists, art critics, gallerists, & young art aficionados, attended the exhibition’s opening day.

The exhibit’s visuals dazzled visitors with a riot of hues, disorienting angles, and odd yet alluring installations like swimming pool filled with 10,000 bananas, vintage vehicle, relaxing crocodile, & walls covered in the recurrent motif of spaghetti. This unique exhibit marks a break from linear showcase forms in which art is no longer about one-sided contact between the exhibit and viewer, but rather a vivid exploration of imagination through a deeply immersive experience.
